Private sale terms

These items are sold by an individual selling their own unwanted household belongings. They are pre-loved and sold as described in the listing, including the condition percentage and notes. Please read each description and look at the photos carefully before buying.

Because this is a private sale, there is no right to return items for change of mind. Your statutory rights as to the seller describing an item accurately still apply.

Prices are fixed and include everything except delivery, shown at checkout. The first person to complete payment gets the item. If an item turns out to have sold at the same moment, you will be refunded in full.

Delivery is to selected local postcodes, once a week. Your confirmation email shows the delivery date. Items that need an adult to inspect or assemble (for example baby equipment) should be checked on arrival.

Privacy notice

We collect only your name, email address and delivery address, so we can take payment, deliver your order and send your confirmation. Our lawful basis is contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and legal obligation for keeping basic order records.

Payment is handled by Stripe, who process your card details; we never see them. We use Resend to send emails. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and tax, then delete them. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Contact the seller using the email address on the home page.
